Jet Engine - Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 Intake Fan
Here's the perfect design for that pilot in your life. This design entered our portfolio as one of the panels of a fully personalised fire pit--a lovely surprise gift from a lady to her husband, a pilot. The brief was "something to do with a jet engine."
During the design consultation, we suggested the intake view as it offered ample cut outs for viewing the flame. We then refined then concept to make it specific to the Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engine, which powers the British Airways Boeing 787 Dreamliner flown by her husband.
For you aero-engine aficionados, you'll notice the design incorporates 20 fan blades. Go on. Count them. You can't resist.
Finally, this design has a special significance for us, as Co-Founder Tony Cox, was actually working at Rolls-Royce when Great British Outdoor Fires was founded.
