Welsh Dragon - (Y Ddraig Goch)

Regular price £0.00

This dragon design was inspired by the Welsh Dragon (Y Ddraig Goch, meaning red dragon in Welsh). Still in use today, the first recorded symbolic representation of Wales by a dragon was around 829 AD in the Historia Brittonum.

You probably know that the dragon is a central feature of the Welsh Flag, so if you'd like to see this design depicted in a slightly different way, please view the Flag of Wales (Baner Cymru) design. Any of the designs may be used on any size fire pit, wall panel or candle holder.
