Fire Pit Waterproof Covers - 3 Sizes each with a Tall Option for Use with Castors

Regular price $89.00

These black waterproof covers will keep the rain and leaves out of your fire pit after use, so you're up and running as quickly as possible the next time you want to build a fire. A cover will help you avoid that messy clean up of the grey mud which rain and ash combined makes.

Lovingly handmade by our partners, Hollygate Upholstery, in the next town over from us, they incorporate a lightweight, but rigid DIBOND® panel sewn into the top, supplied from another local company, ARSigns. This panel prevents the pooling of water (and the inadvertent harvesting of mosquitos and algae) which often happens with soft top covers. Our logo is tastefully displayed on the front, and the rear panel has a Velcro seam running the full length, making it easy to put on and take off. What's not to like, right?

The cover doesn't prevent the weathering of mild steel (although is does slow it down considerably). The cover also won't really do much to prolong the life of your fire pit. As the fire pit is so robust, it's going to last well in excess of the 10 year guarantee, and you'll surely replace your cover at some stage in the fire pit's life span. Finally, our fire pits are simply beautiful and there is an argument that says they are too nice to keep hidden. Some of our customers put lighting or pot plants in them to show them off--and you can't do that with a cover on it.

So, there you go...the jury is out. The choice is yours based on what is important to you, knowing that if you do buy it, you are getting a top-quality product.

We make the covers to fit each of our three sizes of fire pits, and you also have the option to make it taller (e.g. 45cm Tall) to cover the castor wheels (should you choose this back-saving option). If you opt for castors and never intend to remove them, then the Tall option may be for you. But, if you envisage using the castors to move it in and out of the garden for the season, but use the fire pit mostly without the castors, then we'd recommend the regular length cover as it's more versatile.
